We have a flexible, 1½ form entry (45 children) to our school, with the exception of Reception aged children. We will be admitting 60 children into this year group from September 2017.

Our Foundation Stage comprises Nursery (Foundation Stage 1) and Reception (Foundation Stage 2). Children are admitted to Nursery at the beginning of the term immediately after their third birthday.

Families must apply directly to our school for places in our Nursery.

Every child is entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education each week.

We operate full days on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

All families must apply through Newcastle Civic Centre for a place in our Reception Class:

Once a child has been granted a place they usually progress through the school until they are eleven years old in Year 6.

Most children who progress through our school transfer to Kenton School at the end of Year 6 but all families must apply for the secondary school of their choice through Newcastle Civic Centre.

For families wishing to transfer to our school mid-way through the school year an application must be made through Newcastle Civic Centre who will allocate places if they are available, in line with Newcastle Local Authority Schools Admissions Policy.

Any family wishing to visit the school prior to accepting a place is welcome to do so by contacting the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time.

We also have a six place Communication Centre or ARC (Additionally Resourced Centre) for primary aged children who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. Admission to the Communication Centre is determined by the Local Authority.
