Choir entertain at Kenton Lodge

Mrs. McDermott and Miss Timlin took the choir to Kenton Lodge to sing for the elderly residents -  the children absolutely loved it and the residents said such lovely things about our fabulous children and their singing. Some of which were, ‘You are all so well-behaved and can sing so beautifully.’ There was a great buzz around, especially when the residents joined in with the singing.
The children were also in the presence of an 80 year old man, who had been in a choir for 72 years and had an amazing voice - the children were in awe of him. He said, ‘You have really made our day by coming here.’
A very kind and generous lady gave us lots of chocolates and £15 (we insisted the chocolates were more than enough but she insisted harder back). The money has gone into School Fund.  Christmas cheer was well and truly all around!
Well done children, you did us all proud!
