Kenton Bar's First Reading Breakfast
28th March 2018
Sixty-six parents joined us for Kenton Bar's first Reading Breakfast. Doors opened at 8.45 a.m. and parents were invited into classrooms to read with their children while enjoying croissants, pancakes and juice. Each class had reading activities to complete as well as reading with their children, and it was lovely to see the whole school enjoying reading.
Parent feedback was very positive and there were requests for the morning to be repeated but for longer. This time we finished at 9.15 a.m. but parents would like to stay until about 10.00 a.m. This is something we will definitely repeat so watch this space as they say!
Thank you to Mrs. Gray for organising and to the band of helpers who cut, buttered and 'jammed' the croissants and pancakes.
